Worth: Just because you're necessary doesn't mean you're important

Today is what can only be called Black Wednesday. 150 people being made redundant. People I work with and am friends with, are (and I quote) "being asked to take the opportunity to leave the company, and be paid for it". A committee must have come up with that one.

I've known for a little while now that this was coming, but the letters aren't going out until this afternoon.

But the affect of all this is that I should really stop being such an ungrateful shit and be thankful I've got a job. It could have been me. The two other people with my job are on the list...

So although I'm grateful for having a job... I wouldn't be me if I didn't complain about something. We'll just have to wait and see what I end up complaining about.
